Childhood

Where is the fun now, where did it all go; where can I find it, oh do you know?
remember running through the corridor; Being late, standing by the door
The long bus rides every morning; the slaps to the head, without warning
Playing cricket all through lunch; on the way home our food we’d munch
The times we laughed the times we cried; the times we fell off the slide
The times we wrote about a car; and were happy to get a star
It seems like it was this morning and now its noon; why oh why did we grow up so soon
